Jose Isaza

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Isaza was raised in a rich influence of culture and music. At the age of six, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he currently resides. Drawing inspiration from the diverse types of music Isaza grew up surrounded by, such as champeta, vallenato, reggaeton, and disco, his musical journey was further enriched by Isaza's father, who owned a nightclub in Colombia and always played electronic music around them. The earliest DJs Isaza heard included Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, and Fatboy Slim.

Isaza fell in love with dance music in 2018 after attending Ultra and Miami Music Week for the first time. He couldn't get enough, and this experience ultimately inspired Isaza to pursue a career as a DJ. All of these cultures and influences have shaped his sound into what it is today. One of the main reasons Isaza enjoys DJing is because of the connection they can create with crowds through their sets. Isaza frequently curates their DJ sets to match the crowd’s particular mood, and there is no better feeling than finding the perfect record that gets everyone in sync. Isaza doesn't like to put his music selection in a box or genre; he just likes to play music that will amp up the crowd and enhance the setting. Typically, Isaza plays the following: minimal/deep tech, tech house, techno, deep house, afro house, disco, and trance.
